The course provided the participants with new knowledge about sustainability in connection with glass production, including energy consumption, environmental impacts, recycling of glass and the possibilities for better waste sorting and resource utilization.
Through teaching, group work, presentations and professional discussions, the participants gained insight into how the industry can work more sustainably – both through the choice of materials, optimisation of processes and a more efficient management of waste.
The course has created an increased focus on how glaziers can contribute to a more sustainable future and at the same time strengthen their professional skills in an industry where the requirements for the environment and responsible production are evolving.
NEG looks forward to continuing to support the industry with relevant competence courses that match the needs of the future.
