Groundbreaking for dental clinic

Published 27-08-2025

On Friday, 15th August, the groundbreaking ceremony for a new and modern dental clinic at Bjergmarkskolen in Holbæk took place. The new clinic will replace the town’s three existing municipal dental clinics.

The groundbreaking for the new dental clinic was carried out by Chief Dentist Asmar Housam Alazawi (left), Mayor Christina Krzyrosiak Hansen, and Regional Director at Base Erhverv Rasmus Mørk Heiberg

With a special focus on indoor climate, the dental clinic will be sustainability-certified according to DGNB Gold - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen (the German Sustainable Building Council).

This includes strict requirements for:
• Good air quality and ventilation
• Noise levels
• Acoustics
• Temperature and lighting conditions
• Use of building materials free from harmful substances

Climate goals

The construction of the dental clinic is in line with Holbæk Municipality’s future climate goals (2030 and 2050) concerning low energy consumption, reuse, biodiversity, and sustainability.

Recent drone images 20th August show that as many trees as possible have been preserved in a fully grown area.
