Around 130 participants from the construction industry came together last week to discuss current developments, challenges and future prospects in timber construction.

The workshop “Circular Timber Construction – Strategies for Planning and Implementation”, organised by our FutureBalticBauhaus project, focused on enabling circularity in the building sector, especially in timber projects. Representatives from various disciplines engaged in lively and practical discussions about the challenges and potential solutions in circular planning and construction.

This was followed on Friday by the conference under the theme “Timber System Housing Construction”. The focus was on current projects, new guidelines and innovative timber construction systems. At our stand during the conference, visitors could find out more about our FutureBalticBauhaus project, the workshop results and discuss challenges and opportunities of circularity in the building sector with us.

We are delighted that both the conference and the workshop were so well attended and so greatly contributed to by the participants through discussions and networking. Many thanks to all participants, speakers and contributors for two inspiring days!
