At the conference, examples of reused materials were presented – for example, plastic bottles used to construct walls (replacing chipboard), as well as analyses of the conditions under which concrete can be reused with properties equal to or better than new concrete. Reuse of timber boards and glass was also showcased.
During the meeting, it was agreed that FBB will also be presented at the major Rostock event on 7 August 2026, where reuse of building materials will be a key focus.
