Linnaeus University is investigating how extensive renovation of multi-family buildings through reuse initiatives, instead of demolition and new construction, can contribute to more sustainable development.
Case Studies on Reuse in Extensive Renovation
The study will examine case studies in Sweden using a scientific and collaborative approach. To gain a deeper understanding of the projects, the team first attended a presentation, followed by a study visit and a meeting to further investigate and explore potential collaborations. Additional meetings with stakeholders and study visits are planned to continue examining the cases and to strengthen opportunities for collaboration.
