The event brought together local architects, engineers, and contractors with an interest in developments within the construction industry and in the municipality’s plans in this area. Here, Future Baltic Bauhaus highlighted the potential of reusing building materials and the need for closer collaboration between the municipality and the business community.
The Head of the Building Department in Holbæk Municipality, Tanja Bonde Rønne, presented the municipality’s concrete efforts to promote material reuse in construction. At the same time, John Hvass from the Vocational Training Center outlined ambitions to strengthen knowledge and skills related to reuse among future skilled workers.
The event concluded with an open invitation from Future Baltic Bauhaus to actors in the construction sector to actively contribute to a more circular building industry with an increased focus on the reuse of building materials.
