The Construction Reuse Hub is taking shape

Published 24-03-2026

We are excited to share that significant progress has been made in developing the digital platform for the Construction Reuse Hub (Byggreturbanken.se).

The platform is designed to make it easier to reuse building materials by connecting supply and demand across the construction sector. It will serve as a practical tool for companies, municipalities and other stakeholders who want to integrate circular practices into their projects.

Over the past months, the focus has been on building a user-friendly structure where buildings facing transformation, and which can serve as material banks, can be registered, searched and matched. The platform has now reached a stage where both functionality and user experience are coming together, enabling real-life testing and further development together with project partners.

By creating a shared digital infrastructure for reuse, the Construction Reuse Hub contributes to reducing waste, lowering climate impact and extending the lifecycle of building materials. It is an important step towards more circular construction processes in the South Baltic region.

We look forward to soon inviting you to explore and engage with the platform.
